Procedure of the Operation
The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis or with a 1–2 night inpatient stay in the clinic.
Dr. Spiegl removes excess skin via a fine, as inconspicuous as possible incision on the inside of the thighs.
If necessary, the tightening can be combined with liposuction to create a smooth, natural transition zone.
Suction drains are usually not necessary.
Healing Process & Downtime
After the operation, rest should be observed for a few days.
- Fit for work: after approx. 1–2 weeks
- Sport: after 6 weeks
- Final result: visible after 3–6 months
- Result: long-lasting, permanent with stable weight
For about 6 weeks, wearing a compression garment is recommended to reduce swelling and support healing.
