Lip Lift (Bullhorn Lift) – for a naturally rejuvenated smile
Lip lift in Salzburg & in the Tullnerfeld region with Dr. Matthias Spiegl
Why a lip lift?
A youthful-looking, well-shaped upper lip contributes significantly to a harmonious facial appearance. With increasing age, the distance between the nose and lips lengthens, causing the lips to appear thinner and less prominent.
A surgical lip lift (Bullhorn Lift) shortens this distance and gently raises the upper lip. The vermilion border becomes more visible, the lips look fuller, and the smile appears fresher – without fillers or artificial effects.

The procedure: Bullhorn Lift for rejuvenating the upper lip
In the so-called Bullhorn Lift, a fine strip of skin is removed directly below the nose. This slightly raises the upper lip and shortens the nose-to-lip distance.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and takes about one hour. Suction drains are not required.
The scar lies inconspicuously in the natural crease beneath the nose and is barely visible once completely healed.
Consultation & appointment scheduling
If you are interested in a lip lift, you are welcome to arrange a consultation appointment with Dr. Spiegl. During your first appointment, questions will be clarified without any time pressure, comprehensive advice will be provided, and photo documentation will be prepared. In any case, you should bring all available medical reports from your patient history.
If you decide to undergo the surgery with Dr. Spiegl after receiving the cost estimate (the price of a lip lift is €2,100), a date for the operation will be agreed upon together. In this regard, it is important to know that in Austria, by law, two weeks must elapse between the informative consultation and the consent to surgery.
